Microwave Peanut Brittle

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup karo syrup
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 cup peanuts
  • 1 tsp margarine
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Microwave first 4 ingredients together on high for 8 minutes.
  2. Add margarine and vanilla, and microwave for an additional 2 minutes.
  3. Then remove and stir in soda until foamy.
  4. Pour into greased cookie sheet and then let cool, and break.
