Meatballs With a Touch of Apple

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 (1 1/4 oz) envelope lipton onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Directions:

  1. Combine hamburger with bread crumbs, egg and milk.
  2. Mix into 1 inch balls (or your size).
  3. Put on cookie sheet and bake at 350F for 15 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile bring to a boil the apple jelly, ketchup, water and soup mix.
  5. Simmer sauce 15 minutes.
  6. Drain fat from the balls.
  7. Transfer to roast pan and cover with sauce.
  8. Bake 1 hour at 350°F.
