Mashed Potatoes and Swiss Chard

Ingredients:

  • 1 (5 lb) bag potatoes
  • butter (optional)

Directions:

  1. Wash, skin (optional) and chop the potatoes.
  2. Start boiling the potatoes.
  3. Once the potatoes are halfway done add the swiss chard leaves. You can use more than a single bunch.
  4. Once the potatoes and swiss chard is done drain the water out. You can keep the water for another use (ie. soup).
  5. Mash the potatoes and swiss chard.
  6. Add milk and butter (basically your normal mashed potatoes).
