Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups yellow cornmeal

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients just until moist.
  2. Bake in a greased 9 square pan at 400º for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
  3. Serve hot with plenty of butter and honey on the side.
