Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a non reactive saucepan, melt butter with olive oil over medium heat.Add onion and cook until slightly translucent (2-3 minutes.
  2. Stir in garlic and cook 1 minute, being careful not to burn.
  3. Add tomato paste and stir to heat.
  4. Stir in tomatoes with puree, water, parsley, oregano, salt & pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered 30 minutes.
