Ingredients:

  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 4 1/2 tsp margarine
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 tsp maple extract or 1 1/2 tsp maple flavoring

Directions:

  1. COMBINE marshmallows and margarine in medium saucepan.
  2. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes or until marshmallows are melted.
  3. Remove from heat; stir in cereal until coated.
  4. Press onto bottom of 13 x 9-inch baking pan coated with nonstick cooking spray, using spatula coated with nonstick cooking spray.
  5. COMBINE margarine, sugar, evaporated milk and salt in medium, heavy-duty saucepan.
  6. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, over medium heat.
  7. Cook, stirring constantly, for 4 1/2 to 5 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat.
  9. Add marshmallows, morsels and maple flavoring; stir vigorously for 1 minute or until marshmallows and morsels are completely melted.
  10. Pour over prepared crust.
  11. Sprinkle with nuts; press in slightly.
  12. Chill for 2 hours or until firm.
  13. Cut into squares.
