Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Sauté the onion, chillies, ginger and garlic in a little oil till the onion is soft.
  2. Remove from the heat and cool.
  3. Add the mince and seasonings and mix.
  4. Shape the mixture into fairly small meatballs.
  5. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the meatballs till brown on the outside about 2-3 minutes. Remove from the pan.
  6. For the sauce sauté the chopped onion in a little heated oil until soft about 5 minutes add the cardamom seeds and stick cinnamon and stir fry for about 1 minute.
  7. Add the chopped tomatoes and simmer gently.
  8. Add the meatballs a simmer till done, about 5 minutes.
