Lolly's Easy Pot Roast

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs pot roast
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 (1 1/4 oz) package onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup dark raisin
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Directions:

  1. Season meat with salt and pepper.
  2. Brown in hot oil in Dutch oven.
  3. Blend tomato sauce, water, juice, soup mix, raisins and pepper.
  4. Add to meat.
  5. Cover and cook on low flame for 3 hours.
  6. Serve on a bed of egg noodles.
