Ingredients:

  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp cocoa
  • 1 box(es) vanilla
  • nuts optional

Directions:

  1. CAKE:
  2. Add vinegar to milk - stir. Let set. Blend Flour and sugar in a large bowl.
  3. Mix stick of butter, 1/2c of oil, 1 c of water in a sauce pan and bring to boil. Add 4 T cocoa. Mix well and pour over flour and sugar.
  4. Add 2 beaten eggs, vinegar/milk mixture, baking soda, and cinnamont. Mix well and pour on greased and floured cookie sheet. Bake 20 minutes at 400.
  5. FROSTING
  6. Bring butter, milk and cocoa to a boil, adding cocoa last. Add vanilla, powdered sugar and nuts (optional)
  7. After cake is done and warm, spread frosting on cake.
