Italian Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 large onion (diced )
  • 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
  • 1 (6 oz) can water
  • 1 (14 oz) can tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Directions:

  1. Saute onion is 1 tblsp oil. Add chuck and cook until it is no longer red. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, tomatoes and can of water. Add minced garlic, italian seasoning, fennel seed and salt & pepper. Simmer for approximately one to one and one half hours.
  2. Adjust salt & pepper to taste. May add garlic powder if desired. Serve over spagetti! Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.
