Ingredients:

  • 1/4 lb butter
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup raisins

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Mix flour, salt, baking powder, and add to butter mixture alternately with milk.
  3. Add raisins.
  4. Pour into 8 X 8 pan.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees one hour.
