Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups canned corn
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Directions:

  1. Sift your dry ingredients first and then measure them.
  2. Beat the egg yolks and add milk.
  3. Stir your liquid ingredients into the dry ones and add the corn and melted butter.
  4. Beat the egg whites until they are stiff and add them to the batter.
  5. Preheat waffle iron for 2 minutes.
  6. Add batter and bake for one minute.
  7. Turn the power off and let it sit there for another 2 minutes.
  8. (This is will vary with your waffle iron).
