Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup cake flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Stir dry ingredients together.
  2. Combine slightly beaten eggs and milk and add to dry ingredients.
  3. Add melted shortening and stir until ingredients are well mixed.
  4. Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full of batter.
  5. Combine topping ingredients and and sprinkle evenly over each cake.
  6. Bake at 375* for 20-25 minutes.
  7. For the Vegetarian option use Vegetable shortening.
