Ingredients:

  • 2 lb of large raw shrimp
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp red pepper
  • 1/2 cup fresh leafy parsley

Directions:

  1. Now:
  2. Strip these beauties down to the bare essentials.
  3. Place in hot water,and cook for about 5 minutes,just until they turn a rosey pink.
  4. Cool off in cold water.
  5. Peel back the layers on the onion and slice ever so thinly.
  6. Layer the shrimp and onion in a nice surround.
  7. Add the necessary spices.
  8. A pinch of heat.
  9. Put under cover for at least 24 hours.
  10. And then let all those succulent flavors just blend together.
  11. ~ The question is: If the best, largest,sweetest, shrimp is just off Canada,do you fly there and experience first hand how sweet a mouthful this could be...or...Do you set back and let it come to you? ~
