Homestyle Fried Fish Fillets

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 lb fish fillet
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 3 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)

Directions:

  1. Beat egg and milk together until blended.
  2. Add seasme seeds if desired to mixture.
  3. Heat shortening in 10' pan.
  4. Dip fillets into milk mixture, then in mixture of flour and salt.
  5. Fry into hot shortening until golden brown.
