Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp water
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine, cut up
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 1/2 cups bread flour (i've used all-purpose)
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Directions:

  1. Add water, 3 eggs, butter, salt, flour, 2 Tablespoons sugar and yeast to bread machine pan in the order suggested by manufacturer.
  2. Select dough/manual cycle. When cycle is complete, remove dough from machine to a lightly floured surface.
  3. If necessary, knead in enough flour to make dough easy to handle.
  4. Shape into rolls as desired.
  5. Cover and let rise in a warm, draft-free place until almost doubled in size, 20-30 minutes.
  6. Combine lightly beaten egg and 1 tablespoon sugar, brush onto tops.
  7. Bake at 375°F for 12-14 minutes or until done.
