Herbed Green Onion Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp yeast

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in small sauce pan.
  2. Saute sliced onion and herbs in melted butter until soft.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  4. Add ingredients to your bread machine according to manufacturer's instructions.
  5. Add cooled herb mixture when your machine beeps at the add-in stage.
  6. Yields a one and a half pound loaf.
