Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme*- (you may use 2 tsp. ital. seasoning for these 3 ingredients)
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 3/4 cup. milk

Directions:

  1. Combine dry ingredients in bowl and mix
  2. Cut in butter until you have course crumbs
  3. Gradually add milk using enough to form a thick batter
  4. Drop by spoonfuls into soup. Cover and simmer 10 min.'s, remove cover and cook an additional 10 min.'s
