Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Make lasagna noodles according to package directions (you need to have 9 total for this recipe).
  2. Rinse and drain pasta.
  3. Brown ground beef with chopped onions and garlic and drain.
  4. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, sugar, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper.
  5. Simmer 30 minutes.
  6. Put a little of the sauce on the bottom of a 9 X 13 pan.
  7. Layer 3 lasagna noodles.
  8. Layer 1/3 of the sauce.
  9. Layer 1/3 of the sliced mozzarella.
  10. Layer 1/3 of the shredded mozzarella.
  11. Repeat 2 more times for a total of 3 layers.
  12. Bake at 350f for 1 hour.
  13. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
