Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Par cook the beans until nearly done but still chalky
  2. Saute onion and garlic in fat.
  3. Add beans and broth, rind, bay leaves and additional seasonings if desired
  4. Bring to a boil
  5. Simmer until beans are tender
  6. Add frozen veggies and kale
  7. Continue simmering until veggies are tender and kale is wilted.
