Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups flour ( i use red mill)
  • 1/2 cup spelt
  • 1 cup rogue hazelnut brown nectar ale
  • 2 teas yeast
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter

Directions:

  1. Mix all the ingredients and knead.
  2. Allow to rise for about an hour.
  3. (I use my bread maker to make the dough)
  4. Butter the bread pan and put in the dough.
  5. Cook at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  6. Drink the leftover beer. The brown ale comes in a 22 oz bottle, so you'll have over half the beer left - so drink up, you've earned it!
  7. * I've also tried using 2 cups flour & 1 cup spelt and it turned out tasty but a bit more dense.
