Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix together apples and sugar and set aside for 1 hour. Sift together flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg and set this aside. In a separate bowl beat eggs, add the oil and vanilla extract. Stir this into the apple mixture. Add in dry ingredients and mix well. Blend in nuts. Pour into floured tube pan. Bake at 350º for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes and finish cooling on wire rack.
