Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 6 oz. milk
  • 4 1/4 oz. ham

Directions:

  1. Sift together dry ingredients.
  2. Cut in shortening until pea texture.
  3. Cube the ham into 1/4 dice.
  4. Cube the cheese into smaller dice.
  5. Add ham & cheese to dry crumble & mix in.
  6. Combine egg & milk; add all at once to dry ingredients.
  7. Stir until dry ingredients are just moist.
  8. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full.
  9. Bake at 400°F for 25 minutes or until done.
