H2's Spicy Fries

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs potatoes
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 tsp keans mustard (or any dry mustard will do)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp oil

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400F for baking.
  2. Mix flour, bread crumbs, dry mustard and salt and pepper in a bag or container suitable for shaking.
  3. Wash and cut potatoes into fry shapes, coat with oil then add to dry mixture and shake. I usually have to do this in stages just to keep the dry stuff dry.
  4. Grease a baking sheet with the left over oil and spread potatoes evenly across sheet. ( I sometimes use aluminum foil as well if I need to clean up in a hurry).
  5. Bake for 40-45 min turning once or twice during cooking.
