Grilled Pear Sundaes

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cut each pear widthwise into six slices. Combine the sugar, cinnamon and pepper; sprinkle over pears.
  2. Using long-handled tongs, moisten a paper towel with cooking oil and lightly coat the grill rack. Prepare grill for indirect heat using a drip pan. Place pears over drip pan and grill, covered, over indirect medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side or until tender.
  3. For each serving, arrange four pear slices on a plate with 1/3 cup ice cream; drizzle with 1/2 teaspoon honey. Yield: 6 servings.
