Ingredients:

  • 3 1/4 cups boiling water
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 pinch salt

Directions:

  1. Pour boiling water over Grape-Nuts and set aside to cool.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Beat egg whites until stiff; set aside.
  4. Beat yolks with spices; add nuts, raisins, dates, and salt.
  5. Mix with Grape-Nuts and fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
  6. Pour into buttered 10-cup souffle dish.
  7. Bake 45-60 minutes.
