Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp butter
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. In a small sauce pan heat sugar, milk and cocoa powder to boil.
  2. Allow to boil only for a minute or two to combine all ingrediants. (wisk constantly to avoid scorching).
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add butter and vanilla
  5. Pour over buttered homemade biscuits and enjoy.
  6. NOTES: The longer you allow the mix to boil in step one the thicker it will be, so if you want it thicker leave it on a bit longer. When I was a kid it was served thin so that's how I make it.
