Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup lard
  • 1/2 cup sour milk
  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda , almost level
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Cream lard and butter together add beaten eggs and sour milk add dry ingred and seasonings add oatmeal and raisns and nut last.
  2. Drop by tsp on sprayed cookie sheet.
  3. Cook about 375 degrees aprox 10 minutes to 12 minutes.
  4. Makes 3 dozen.
