Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 cups oats
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
  2. Mix flour, soda and oats and add slowly to creamed mixture.
  3. Spread 3/4 of this into 9x13 pan.
  4. Melt remaining ingredients in a saucepan and pour over dough in pan.
  5. Blob the remaining oat mixture on top.
  6. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
