Grandma's Baked Spaghetti

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  3. Drain and rinse.
  4. Set aside.
  5. Cook bacon until crispy.
  6. Drain and crumble.
  7. Set aside.
  8. In large frying pan, cook ground beef, onion and bell pepper over medium heat, crumbing beef while it cooks.
  9. Drain and return to pan.
  10. Add canned tomatoes, soup and black pepper, and stir to heat through.
  11. Add 1 cup of the cheese, crumbled bacon, and stir until cheese is melted.
  12. Remove from heat.
  13. Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce mixture and pour into a greased 2 quart casserole dish.
  14. Bake covered for 30 minutes.
  15. Remove cover, top with remaining 1 cup of cheese, and continue to bake, uncovered, for an additional 15 minutes, or until bubbly.
