Grandma Susie's Tomato and Dumplings

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp margarine
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 small onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Directions:

  1. Beat together flour, eggs, milk, salt. Drop by spoonful into boiling water a little at a time. Boil dumplings 10 mins. Drain. Add tomatoes, margarine, sugar and a little sliced onion. Salt and pepper to taste.
