Grandma H's Coconut Cream Pie

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup coconut

Directions:

  1. Bake crust and let cool.
  2. Mix sugar & flour, add a little milk & egg yolks beat together. Add the rest of the milk and a dash of salt. Cook until thickened. Add butter, vanilla, & Coconut. Put in Pre Baked crust.
  3. Top with Meringue sprinkle w coconut and bake until browned.
