Ingredients:

  • 14 1/2 oz can french cut green beans
  • 11 oz. can shoepeg white corn
  • 14 1/2 oz. can petite peas
  • 1/4 cup. chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup. chopped celery
  • 1/8 cup. chopped pimento
  • 1/2 cup. sugar
  • 1/2 cup. vinegar
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil

Directions:

  1. Drain canned vegetables, chop fresh vegetables, place all in a medum sized bowl.
  2. Heat sugar, vinegar and oil to boiling, stirring until sugar melts.
  3. Pour over vegetables. Chill overnight.
  4. Alternate Dressing recipe (makes it sweeter):
  5. 1 cup sugar
  6. 1/2 cup vinegar
  7. 1/2 c. vegetable oil
