Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Prepare rice according to package directions using butter or ghee, cumin seeds and salt.
  2. Once cooked, add over the top the dried fruit and almonds; do not stir. Place lid loosely over pot and let stand 10 minutes. Fluff with fork.
  3. To toast almonds: Spread in single layer on metal baking sheet. Bake in 350°F oven 3 to 5 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring occasionally. (Watch carefully to prevent burning.) Set aside to cool.
