Ingredients:

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp cumin, ground
  • 1 tsp cardamom
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Rinse the rice at least twice
  2. In the oile, fry the garlic, cumin, cinnamon and contents of two cardamom pods.
  3. Add the rice and stir for about a minute to coat the rice
  4. Pour in the water and bring to the boil
  5. Cover with a lid, turn down the hear to low and allow to cook for 15-20 minutes.
