Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Wash the fillet thoroughly
  2. Soak in lemon juice for about 15 minutes
  3. Discard the juice and rinse out fillets and dry on a paper towel (this helps remove any residual odour)
  4. Coat fillets in cilantro, chillies, vinegar and garlic and keep in the fridge for 15 minutes or more.
  5. Spread breadcrumbs evenly on a work surface.
  6. Beat egg and keep in a wide bowl
  7. Dip each fillet in the egg and coat with breadcrumbs
  8. Heat oil till smoking
  9. Lower flame and shallow fry till golden brown.
  10. Place on a sheet of absorbent paper to remove excess oil
  11. Enjoyed best while hot with tartare sauce!!
