Easy Delicious French Onion Soup!

Ingredients:

  • 4 cans beef broth
  • 8 cups water
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tsp olive oil

Directions:

  1. Slice onions, chop garlic finely, brown onions and garlic in olive oil in large soup pot.
  2. When browned, add 1 can chicken broth, stir to deglaze pan. Reduce down slightly, add other can of chicken broth, both cans of beef broth, and water. Bring to a boil
  3. Reduce heat, cover, let simmer for an hour.
  4. Taste soup for seasoning, add salt, pepper, cyanne powder and oregano to taste.
  5. Great alone, or topped with a slice of crusty french bread and swiss cheese.
