Ingredients:

  • easy country blackberry cobbler
  • 1/2 cup. butter
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • 2/3 cup. milk
  • 1 (16 oz.) package. frozen blackberries, thawed

Directions:

  2. Melt butter in a 2 quart casserole.
  3. In medium bowl, stir together blackberries and 1/2 CUP sugar. Let stand about 20 minutes or until fruit syrup forms.
  4. Combine flour, 1/2 CUP sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk in a small mixing bowl, mix well.
  5. Pour mixture over melted butter, do not stir. Spoon blackberries over batter; do not stir.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Cream, whipped cream or ice cream, if desired
