Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  2. Combine eggs, milk and oil; stir into dry ingredients, just until moistened.
  3. Spread batter evenly onto the bottom of a greased 5-qt. slow cooker.
  4. In a saucepan, combine berries, water, orange peel and remaining sugar; bring to a boil.
  5. Remove from heat and immediately pour over batter.
  6. Cover and cook on high for 2 to 2-1/2 hours or until a toothpick inserted into the batter comes out clean.
  7. Turn cooker off, uncover and let stand for 30 minutes before serving.
