Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup margarine
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°C.
  2. In bowl, stir together flour, baking soda.
  3. In microwaveable bowl, place 2 cups of chocolate chips and microwave on HIGH for 1.5 minutes, stir. Microwave an additional 30 seconds or until chips are melted and smooth when stirred. Allow to cool slightly.
  4. In large mixer bowl, beat butter and sugar. Add eggs, beat well.
  5. Blend in melted chocolate, and gradually add flour mixture, beating well.
  6. Stir in remaining 2 cups of chocolate chips.
  7. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake 8-9 minutes. Allow to cool slightly on sheet, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
