Ingredients:

  • 500 g okra/lady finger,cut to half-inch rings
  • 1 medium onion,chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 tbsp cumin seeds
  • oil

Directions:

  1. Heat oil in a pan.Add onion and sir fry until light brown.
  2. Add tomatoes and stir fry for a few minutes.
  3. Add remaining ingredients.Keep stirring it.
  4. Add 1/2 glass of water and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Stir fry until oil separates.Add okra and cook on slow heay until done.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and green chillies.
  7. Serve with chappati/paratha.
