Ingredients:

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the oil.
  2. Add the onion and saute until almost glassy. Add the black onion seeds and stir until you can hear them start to pop.
  3. Add the cumin and cook until the fragrance comes out.
  4. Remove from the heat and let cool.
  5. Mix the yogurt, cucumber and the salt and pepper. Add the cooled onion and spice mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Put in the refidgerator for about a half hour or overnight.
