Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Put first 5 ingredients in your crock pot.
  2. Stir well to coat the apples with all the spices.
  3. Dot with butter.
  4. Cook on low about 4 hours.
  5. Stir once during cooking.
  6. Since crock pot temperatures vary, you should check to make sure that apples are soft but not mushy like apple sauce.
  7. It should have the consistency of apple pie filling.
  8. This is DELICIOUS warm with vanilla ice cream!
  9. It's good plain too.
