Creamed Peas And New Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 1-1 1/2 cup. shelled peas i like to shell my own if i have them.. not included in prep time. we can get fresh shelled at our store.
  • 1/4 cup. low fat milk
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:

  1. Cook potatoes in boiling salted water until done;
  2. Drain well.
  3. Cook peas in boiling salted water 8-15 minutes;
  4. Drain well.
  5. Blend cream cheese with milk;
  6. Add salt.
  7. Stir over low heat until warm.
  8. Combine potatoes and peas in serving dish.
  9. Pour cream cheese sauce over vegetables.
  10. We like this with roasted chicken..
  11. Enjoy
