Cream Cheese Filled Chocolate Glazed Butter Sweets

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • filling
  • 1 cup confectioner's sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp real butter
  • 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar

Directions:

  1. Cream butter then add sugar, salt and vanilla and mix thoroughly then add flour.
  2. Shape into 36 small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets and press deep hole in each.
  3. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes then fill while warm and cool completely then pour frosting over top.
  4. To make filling cream together cheese, sugar, flour and vanilla then stir in nuts and vanilla.
  5. To make frosting melt chocolate, water and butter over low heat then remove from heat.
  6. Stir in sugar then beat until smooth.
