Coffee Can Ice Cream

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1-1 lb empty coffee can
  • 1-3 lb empty coffee can

Directions:

  1. THIS IS FUN
  2. Place all ingredients in a 1-pound coffee can with a tight lid
  3. Place can inside 3-pound coffee can
  4. Pack crushed ice around smaller can
  5. Pour rock salt over ice
  6. Place lid on can
  7. Roll back and forth on floor or table for 10 minutes
  8. Remove inner can and stir mixture scraping sides of can
  9. Replace lid and pack again with more ice and salt
  10. Roll 5 minutes more
  11. Makes about 3 cups :)
