Ingredients:

  • 6 cup sugar
  • 3 cup water
  • 9 oz package red cinnamon candies
  • 3 drops red food color

Directions:

  1. Cut cored and peeled apples in rings.
  2. Combine sugar, water, cinnamon candies and food color.
  3. Bring to a boil and boil 3 minutes.
  4. Add apples to syrup and cook until transparent.
  5. Pack in hot jars then cover with syrup and adjust lids.
  6. Process in boiling water bath for 25 minutes.
