Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar , packed
  • 1/2 egg
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 f and prepare cookie sheets with oil or parchment
  2. Beat the margarine, sugar, egg and vanilla on medium speed until smooth
  3. In a seperate bowl combine the flour, oats, baking soda and salt; add to egg mixture. Mix until well combined and then fold in the chocolate chips and nuts if you want.
  4. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes or lightly golden.
  5. Remove from oven and allow to cool on the pans for 2 minutes and then transfer to wire racks to cool completely. ENJOY
