Chocolat macaroons from J. Meunier

Ingredients:

  • 5 1/2 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/3 cup ground almonds (optional)
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolat chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven at 180C (375F)
  2. In a heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt 1 cup chocolat chips.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in eagle brand.
  4. Combine ingrediens .
  5. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto a greased floured baking sheet
  6. Garnish with blanched almonds before baking.
  7. Bake 8-10 min or until lightly browned.
  8. Remove from baking sheet at once and cool on rack
  9. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
