Directions:

  1. Add water, chicken,onion,basil n chicken boulion into large pot, bring to boil n them reduce heat n simmer 1-11/2 hours. Remove chicken n set aside. Remove onion n discard.To broth in pan add a mixture of flour n water, to thicken to gravy constincey (I usually use 11/2 c water with about 1c flour), whisk in to avoid lumps. Add evaporated milk ncook until nice n thick. Cube Chicken add to broth mixture, add cooked vegetables. Pour into a large baking pan. Top with large biscuits. Bake 425 degrees, when tops of biscuits are browned turn over n brown other side.
  2. I use the left over filling to make chicken pot pies.
  3. You can also add peas or any vegetables that you would like.
